North Dakota Lottery Results
The North Dakota Lottery is run by the state’s government and is responsible for administering, regulating, enforcing, and promoting the North Dakota’s lottery related games. There are five multistate games conducted by the North Dakota Lottery. They include POWERBALL, MEGA MILLIONS, HOT LOTTO, WILD CARD 2 and 2by2.
The North Dakota Lottery also upholds the quality of the game by selecting and licensing retailers, training their employees to use lottery terminals, selling tickets, and redeeming winning tickets as well as promoting lottery games. The Lottery body also pays high-tier prizes to players, and makes sure that retailers and players comply with the lottery law and rules.
The North Dakota Lottery has been operating since 2004, when a constitutional amendment was approved by voters. The Lottery is only allowed to offer multi-jurisdictional games, meaning that North Dakota-only games are barred – a rule that makes it unique among US lotteries. Therefore all of the games available in the state are part of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). As most scratch games in the USA are offered in one jurisdiction the North Dakota Lottery does not sell them. This makes North Dakota the only mainland state not to do so.
